About register to start SEVAS AV mechanism
1.	Are anti-virus mechanism functions limited if user did not enter 18 codes to register?
	Yes, it could not update to the latest definition if user did not register 18 codes to get one time or one year auto upgrade service.
2.	Why anti-virus mechanism functions fail to work after entering 18 codes?
	Please check 18 codes entered correctly or not or had been registered before.
3.	Why can not create homepages after entering 18 codes correctly?
	Please check internet if it is on-line.
4.	Why [Definition Info.] is still appearing [Not registered] after [register and update success] message shows up?
	After [register and update success] message shows up, please wait a second for updating or replug SEVAS AV enclosure that it will indicate from [Not registered] to [Ver.*******]
5.	Will it be auto update no time limited after register?
	No. You will get one time update to the latest definition for free after register (enter one time codes). To get auto update service for one year, please contact with the stores where you bought it to purchase one year auto update service.
6.	Could the 18 codes be registered twice?
	No, the 18 codes just could be registered one time.

	There are three languages versions support: Chinese character version in traditional form, simplified form and the other is English version .

1.	What are different between [Execution Files Advanced Defense ] and [Execution Files Advanced Defense] [All] on [Options]?
	[Execution Files Advanced Defense] scans most of PE files, includes "COM","BIN","EXE","SCR","DLL","DOC","DOT","VXD","CPL","XLS", "SMM","MBX","DBX","HTA","VBS","PIF","ASP","PHP","HTT","CMD","BAT" [Execution Files Advanced Defense] [All ] scans all kinds of types of files.
2.	How to remove SEVAS AV enclosure safely?
	Please click right key of the mouse on SEVAS AV icon at system tray to [safely remove hardware].
3	How do I format HDD that has existed on SEVAS AV enclosure with anti-virus mechanism?
	Please click [Options] on setting interface on SEVAS AV window and give it a check on [Stop Defense (If Format)], then you can start to format this HDD to get a new clear HDD.
4.	How do I contact with customer service center of SEVAS?

About SEVAS Anti-Virus mechanism
1.	Why normal files are quarantined?
	If you are sure that the quarantined file is no virus-infected, you can restore them on [Quarantine] function and delete this renamed Filename Extension to original Filename Extension or mail this file to us (service@sevas.com.tw) for help.
2.	Why the autorun.inf files was deleted by SEVAS AV mechanism?
	Because a file that exists in autorun.inf directs to inexistent path.
3.	Why there were a 0.KB volume on autorun.inf and an uncertain file in SEVAS HDD?
	A 0.KB volume on autorun.inf and an uncertain file could be virus-infected files and had been scaned, detected by SEVAS AV mechanism. They could be deleted by user manual.
4.	Why the virus-infected file that was renamed could not be quarantined?
	[Execution File Advance-Defense] function on options can scan PE files below: "COM","BIN","EXE","SCR","DLL","DOC","DOT","VXD","CPL","XLS", "SMM","MBX","DBX","HTA","VBS","PIF","ASP","PHP","HTT","CMD","BAT". But when [Execution File Advance-Defense] changes to [Execution File Advance-Defense] [All], this function can scan all kinds of PE files, includes virus-infected file that was renamed.
5.	Is SEVAS AV mechanism able to clean viruses on virus-infected files?
	No. Like the other antivirus software, SEVAS AV mechanism scans, detects and quarantines the virus-infected files or delete files directly, but can not clean the virus that exists in virus-infected files.
6.	Could the virus-infected files be directly deleted instead of quarantined when SEVAS AV mechanism had detected them?
	Yes, you can. But you have to Click [Options] on SEVAS AV windows, cancel the [File Quarantine] Function firstly, then the virus-infected files could be directly deleted when SEVAS AV mechanism had detected them.
About SEVAS Anti-Virus mechanism compatible problems with anti-virus software on computers .
1.	For Free AVG Anti-Virus software users;Why the Icon of SEVAS Anti-Virus mechanism on down-right tool bar doesn’t appear under using Free AVG Anti-Virus software on computer?
	SEVAS Anti-Virus mechanism doesn’t compatible with AVG Anti-Virus software.We have noticed that, modified our program and released new program (20090331 SEVAS AV install.rar) on Download area. Only SEVAS AV Icon has showed on tool bar, the anti-virus mechanism can be updated to the newest versions. Please turn off the AGV anti-virus software temporarily on computers or using no AVG Anti-Virus software on computer when SEVAS updates to the newest versions if you have got one year update service.

Important note !

To create SEVAS Anti-Virus mechanism, it is necessary to put HDD to SEVAS enclosure and initial, format , install Anti-Virus mechanism and enter 18 codes to start SEVAS Anti-Virus mechanism and one time or one year auto update service.

1. Some computer’s USB port provides insufficient USB bus power, please connect USB Y cable two heads to computer USB ports.
2. Please use AC Adapter if it can’t be started. AC Adapter is option.
3. Please avoid putting this product directly under the sunshine or close to electrical appliances. EX: hair dryer, microwave, toaster.
4. The warranty isn’t applicative if data was destroyed was caused by not properly operation by users.
5. For product RMA, please contact with the store where you bought it.
6. This product supports Windows 2000/Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 2003 Server.
7. If HD was drawn out of SEVAS AV Enclosure to other computers, this HD could not be read by other computes. Please backup data before format.
